Why do I enjoy working at Betronic?

Betronic serves customers who want to make the world a little better, for example by developing and manufacturing more energy-efficient and/or less polluting devices or by offering solutions that have a positive impact on people’s well-being. Our employees share this passion with our customers and are intrinsically motivated to do their part. Coming from the more corporate world, I find the size and scale of Betronic immensely enjoyable. The company is large enough with sufficient expertise, experience, structure and sparring partners. For an innovative company, our scale is very effective, so much for customers, business partners and the people who work with us.

What are my duties and responsibilities at Betronic?

As CEO, I deal with strategy and keeping our value proposition relevant and attractive to our customers. This means I am focused on our customers, our people, quality and continuous improvement. Currently, I put a lot of time into improving business processes and building even more customer-oriented culture in Betronic.

What else do I like, besides working at Betronic?

My wife, our 2 children and I live not far from the office in Amsterdam. We can also be found in Friesland quite often on vacations and weekends.

I try to contribute socially by being active at my children’s school and through a board position at a social foundation. I also exercise very regularly in preparation for some annual sporting challenges I do with friends, such as a half marathon, Olympic triathlon or cycling classic.
